360 Degree Leader

It's been a while since I've read 360 Degree Leader by John Maxwell, but it kept calling to me from the shelf. I'm glad I listened. Sometimes we need to go back and reread what has helped our focus before. It's like singing an old song. An old book can help you remember where you started.

Welcome to Mississippi!!!

Well, I moved to Mississippi last July, and I had to access the inner redneck. You know what? I love being a redneck. You see, it's not just camo and talking funny, it's taking life at a slower pace. What a relief! I have time to enjoy the little things now. Instead of trying to fit in everything for everybody, I don't plan unless I just want to. Come in on Sunday afternoon, church is out for family time; so, let's gas up the 4-wheelers and sling some mud. Yeah, you can laugh, but don't you get tired of being so busy. Every night I step out the back to let the dogs out one more time, and I look up at the stars. I don't think about tomorrow. I don't ask the Lord to forgive me for a list of sins. I actually enjoy God's creation. . .walking in the righteousness of Jesus Christ and not because I'm beating myself into perfection. Man, I think my blood pressure has gone down.
